Commented tastings

The following topics are covered during the commented presentation:

 

  • wine types and styles;
  • The main grape varieties – red and white wines – strains, regions, characteristics;
  • smells and tastes of wines – tasting;
  • wine-producing regions, what the “New World” and “Old World” are and what they are characterized by;
  • How to read wine labels;
  • How to choose the right wine for different occasions and dishes.

 

Presentations are prepared individually depending on the needs of clients. Each of the tastings has its own unique character – the topics of the presentations are determined directly with those interested and are always conducted according to individual arrangements with the client. Tastings can be held at a location specified by the client (e.g. at the company’s headquarters) or at any of the partner restaurants.

 

Wine Knowledge Course

 

Winoland has also prepared opportunities for its customers to improve their wine knowledge through training. They cover theoretical knowledge as well as the practical part. This wine workshop of sorts aims to introduce participants to the world of wine and its secrets. Conducted at such a course, the tasting of more than a dozen types of wines, supported by theoretical materials, makes the participants acquire initial wine knowledge.

For our business partners, Winoland conducts training courses, with a program adapted to the specifics and needs of the food service industry. Depending on the requirements, they cover the essentials of wine expertise enriched with information on producers and their wines. In addition, we support our partners with training in general waiter knowledge as well as offer professional culinary training conducted by certified chefs with many years of experience. Training directly improves the quality of guest service and increases guest satisfaction, making it an essential part of any plan to improve staff skills.
