Description
The second wine from Château du Moulin Rouge. It is vinified to reach drinking maturity much earlier than Cru Bourgeois, its big brother. L’Ecuyer is matured in year-old barrels that previously held the first wine. It delights with a delicate bouquet of red fruits and violets, which is accentuated by a delicate woody note of Barriques Vieux. On the palate, it impresses with its complexity, freshness and balance, elegance, as well as fine, mild, soft tannins and a long, fruity aftertaste. The nose is a bit vegetal against a background of black currant. The wine is soft, smooth, charming, directly accessible thanks to its beautiful, smooth substance. A lovely wine.
