Description wina Valpolicella Superiore Le Alene DOC San Cassiano
This wine is not easily forgotten. Produced from partially dried grapes, it is then aged about two years in barrels and another year in bottles. During this time it acquires a heavenly fragrance with outstandingly complex aromas. So here we have ripe cherry, blackberry, black currant and spice notes: black pepper, mint, vanilla and anise. The taste is soft, warm, with great structure, balanced and with an unearthly long finish. This is how divine nectar and ambrosia must have tasted together. It goes even better with spaghetti with tomato sauce, risotto, all kinds of meats (grilled, braised, fried, baked) and cheeses, as long as they are not too aromatic.
