A white wine from France’s Pouilly Fume AOC appellation from producer Domaine Chauveau. A classic Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. If you are looking for a sensational white French wine, you have just come across it. It is a wonderfully sweet wine that is a coupage of semillion and sauvignon blanc. The nose is dominated by aromas of notes of candied fruits – especially apricots – and honey. In the second nose there are aromas of blooming flowers. A harmonious and balanced wine, where acidity with sweetness perfectly complement each other. Recommended for all fish in sauces, mussels and clams.
