Description wina Radica Montepulciano d`Abruzzo
A wine with a distinctive dark red color with lustrous shades of violet. The Montepulciano strain, a hallmark of Central Italy, is responsible for such intense color. The taste features typical red fruits, some blackberry with spicy notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla and eucalyptus. The wine is well structured, soft and balanced, with a lingering finish. It owes its strength to 6 months of maturation in steel tanks, followed by 3 months of aging in French oak barrels. A wine with such a strong character requires flamboyant company at the table. Therefore, they are best served in the company of beef, game dishes, spicy sausages or aged, strongly flavored cheese.
