Description wina Oro de Castilla Sauvignon Blanc
A typically French strain transplanted to Spanish soil bore fruit in the form of a subdued Frenchman with a truly Spanish temperament. So we have a wine that is elegant like a French lady, yet firm in its character. Rare, with Sauvignon’s characteristic intense aroma. So in the first place we have notes of just-cut grass, gooseberry, passion fruit, lychee and citrus. Mouth fresh with a nice citrus and mineral finish. On the palate it is broad, richly extracted and full-bodied. Perfectly balanced acidity. Just right for fish dishes, salads, soft cheeses, but also for oriental dishes.
