Description

Otero Crianza is a Spanish dry red wine from the rare Prieto Picudo varietal. The vineyard has a specific terroir – it is located quite high, the vines are old or very old, prieto picudo berries – unusual. The confluence of these factors makes the wine unfussy, in a very rustic style. In the glass, it has a dark maroon, fairly clear color. In the nose, noticeable aromas of red and black fruits, quenched by four months of maturation in barrel. On the palate it is fruity (black currant, blueberry), but also sharp and lively, with well-balanced acidity. On the finish vanilla and toffee. Ideal for an interesting gift, for drinking without a meal and for delicate appetizers.
