Friulano is the flagship strain of the Friuli Venzia Giulia region. Most often used to produce single-vineyard wines that are decidedly dry, crisp, with low acidity and a long finish. In the glass, an intense straw yellow color with green gold reflections. Flavors are delicate, with notes of balsamic and wild flowers that add multidimensionality to the wine. On the palate, fresh, juicy and dynamic but balanced flavor. Excellent as an aperitif, it also goes well with soups, meats and spicy fish dishes. It makes an interesting marriage with Oriental cuisine.
